Installing bLMs on Windows

System requirements

Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit (x64).
Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime (built into Windows 11; the installer adds it automatically).
Internet connection to sign in and sync. Downloaded courses can be used offline.

Installer

Download the installer.
Open bLMs-Setup-1.0.6.exe.
Follow the setup wizard.
Open bLMs from the Start menu.
Sign in.

Uninstall: Settings → Apps → Installed apps → bLMs → Uninstall.

Portable

Download the portable .zip.
Right-click the .zip and choose Extract All.
Open the extracted folder.
Run bLMs.exe.
Sign in.

If the app doesn’t open on Windows 10, install the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime (Evergreen) from Microsoft’s website and try again.

Note: the portable version still saves your sign-in and offline courses in your Windows user profile, not in the folder. Deleting the folder removes the app only.

Windows may show “Windows protected your PC”. Click More info, then Run anyway.

Verify the download (optional). In PowerShell, run Get-FileHash .\bLMs-Setup-1.0.6.exe -Algorithm SHA256 and compare the result with the SHA-256 checksum on this page.
